Do you want to say "Thank You" personally to a soldier, sailor, airmen, or Marine? Well, here's your chance! Write your email to "rottmope at yahoo dot com" and tell them how much we appreciate their efforts and sacrifice.

Update: Here's my letter.

Dear Soldier,

Please know that there is a broad swath of America that knows what's going on: thousands of incremental success stories; jihadists who are now turning on themselves (red on red fighting); an increased competence of the Iraqi military; and many other victories.

If you have access to the Internet, please avoid the mainstream media sites and go instead to www.powerlineblog.com, www.hughhewitt.com, www.captainsquartersblog.com, www.lileks.com, www.scrappleface.com, www.instapundit.com, www.nicedoggie.net, www.michellemalkin.com. These at least will introduce you to many other supporters of your efforts.

There are also "milbloggers" who you should visit: www.mudvillegazette.com, www.blackfive.net, www.lt-smash.us, and again, many others.

The heros are certainly the troops fighting the good fight. But why do the head honchos go after the makers of the bombs and the countries that support the making of these bombs. If we would go after the source, we could end this war on terrorism quicker.

Go after Syria, Iran, Palestine and the other states that support terrorism, but not with trade or economic sanctions. Send in the CIA, the NSC, funnel money and supplies to tribes and clans that support an end to terrorism, and go to the source of terrorism. We won't win the war on terrorism fighting individual insurgents.
