That's incredible how our Gov. is so quick to rebuild these cities and set up first aid centers. It must be very uplifting to see these convoys heading south to start the cleanup.

Yes, we do live in the greatest country on the earth. It is good that there was a big response and people and emergency teams to help the victims of the Katrina catastrophy. Personally i think that the whole thing could have been prevented, and if not people could have been transported to saftey a lot quicker.

I really feel for you. I was in New Orleans 10 hours before all the hurricanes happened. I am very happy I made it home safe to my children and family. In your case I feel for you because you were there in the middle of all the hurricanes and i would never wish anything like that upon anyone.

I think the support efforts being conducted for hurricane Katrina are immaculate. But the truth is, many of the problems could have been prevented by a little preparation. maybe this horrible disaster will hinder a bit of insight for future hurricanes.
